Our Zero-Knowledge Architectural Manifesto

Every single tool in our catalog executes 100% inside your local web browser using WebAssembly (WASM), HTML5 Canvas API, and Web Crypto API. We maintain zero backend file processing servers, zero databases, and zero tracking cookies.

Why we built this

It started with a simple observation: almost every "free" online tool has the same business model. You upload your file — a tax return, a contract, a photo of your kids — and it goes to a server you don't control, run by a company you've never heard of. The tool is free because your data is the product: harvested for advertising profiles, sold to data brokers, or simply stored insecurely until the inevitable breach.

We thought there had to be a better way. And there is: modern browsers are enormously powerful. Your phone's browser can merge PDFs, compress images, run tax calculations, and validate JSON without breaking a sweat — no server needed. So we built 99 tools that do exactly that. Open a tool, use it, close the tab. Nothing uploads, nothing is stored, nothing is tracked. You can verify this yourself in your browser's network tab, or disconnect from the internet entirely after the page loads — everything still works.

Who runs Toolenix

Toolenix is an independent project founded by Muhammad AbuBakar Azam, who writes the guides and builds the tools. No venture capital, no growth team, no dark patterns. Just a belief that useful software shouldn't demand your personal data as the price of admission.
